October 4–5, Harrisburg University department of Professional Development kicked off Cybersecurity month, 2023 by hosting a Cybersecurity Summit in partnership with The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, County Commissioners of Pennsylvania, and Central Susquehanna Intermediate Unit 16.
Hundreds of thought leaders, industry experts, representatives from the state and local government, federal agencies, K-12, higher education, and leaders in the private sector met virtually and in-person during the 2-day summit to talk about the challenges they face in cybersecurity, and the opportunities ahead for the industry.
Each track addressed topics including the shortage of talent in the cybersecurity space, securing current and emerging tech, leveraging services and resources to benefit everyone, and lessons learned from incidents and breaches.
