On Saturday, September 9, HU welcomed its Information Systems Engineering and Management (ISEM) Ph.D. students to campus. The students experienced a full day of intensive coursework and discussions. Between the two sets of morning and afternoon classes, faculty and students were able to get better acquainted with one another over lunch and a short presentation on the nature and milestones of the ISEM Ph.D. program.

The students are comprised of two groups – those admitted for the Summer 2019 term and those admitted for the Fall 2019 term. The ISEM department initiated its new Ph.D. Program in May 2019, welcoming six students. For Fall 2019, the program welcomed an additional six students. More students are expected for the Spring 2020 semester.
