Lab work provides critical hands-on learning experiences for students at HU, experiences that cannot be replicated in a typical classroom setting. Often, students who major in Biotechnology and Integrative Sciences enter medical and graduate schools and/or land positions with biotech companies, become veterinarians, and more. Skills, like bacterial stain testing, which HU students develop while completing projects like the Bacterial Unknown in their microbiology class, will help them flourish as they move forward.
