For the 3rd year, Harrisburg University’s Sydney Kurtz is organizing the HU Mitten Tree.  This is a way to collect donations such as gloves, scarves, hats, socks, coats, etc. to donate to the YWCA Women’s Shelter and Bethesda Men’s Center of Harrisburg.

Donated items for adults and children can be new or used provided the items are in good condition.  The shelters will take any size. Please do not feel obligated to buy these items!

The tree will be in the Café Area of the Academic Center beginning next week. Feel free to hang the items you donate, and for larger items, put in the box below the tree.  The items will be taken to the shelters and donated in HU’s name.

The deadline to drop off items is Monday, December 19th.   Thank you for your support of the Harrisburg Community.

Questions can go to Sydney Kurtz at SKurtz@HarrisburgU.edu  Sydney is the Professional Development Marketing & Communications Coordinator.
