Jorge Arosemena

Jorge Ramón Arosemena Román studied Civil Engineering at the University of Panama and obtained a Classical Degree in Philosophy and a master’s degree in Sociology, both at Saint Louis University, United States. He has led the executive team of the City of Knowledge Foundation since its creation in 1997.

Carlos Villa is the CEO and Co-founder of Buho, a company centered in the field of measurement and evaluation of communications. He received his bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering from the Universidad de Los Andes in 1993 and his master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Navarra in 1996.

Luis E. Landínez leads RMN Electi’s business operations in Latin America. Luis has more than 28 years of business experience across the automotive, beverages, and technology sectors, as well as in plastic flexible packaging.

Doriana Hun is the current Manager of Chevron for Panama. Among her functions are those of directing the country’s sales and marketing, which includes retail sales to Texaco service stations and commercial sales to companies.

Gina Sare

Gina Sare Benites is an expert in evaluation, accreditation, and higher education of the Peruvian educational system. Graduated in Education from the Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos (UNMSM), she has a master’s degree in Evaluation of Development Programs and Projects from the Universidad de Costa Rica.

Jorge Arosemena

Jorge ArosemenaJorge Ramón Arosemena Román studied Civil Engineering at the University of Panama and obtained a Classical Degree in Philosophy and a master’s degree in Sociology, both at Saint Louis University, United States. He has led the executive team of the City of Knowledge Foundation since its creation in 1997. He was a professor of Sociology at the University of Panama, an institution where he taught since 1971 and where he held the positions of Secretary General. and Academic Vice Chancellor.

Between 1987 and 1993, he worked as project coordinator for the Action Committee to Support the Economic and Social Development of Central America (CADESCA) of the Latin American and Caribbean Economic System, promoting cooperation projects with the European Union, the Nordic countries of Europe and the Inter-American Development Bank. In the public sector, he has held the positions of General Manager of the Panamanian Institute of Tourism, Vice Minister of the Presidency, Vice Minister and Minister of Education.

Carlos Villa

Carlos VillaCarlos Villa is the CEO and Co-founder of Buho, a company centered in the field of measurement and evaluation of communications. He received his bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering from the Universidad de Los Andes in 1993 and his master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Navarra in 1996.

He was the Co-founder of Logisfashion, S.A., a company centered in the field of logistics. In Logisfashion, he worked as the Operation and IT Manager from 1996 until 2006. He has been a Board member since 1996.

Luis Landinez

Luis LandinezLuis E. Landínez leads RMN Electi’s business operations in Latin America. Luis has more than 28 years of business experience across the automotive, beverages, and technology sectors, as well as in plastic flexible packaging.

Previously, Luis had an outstanding executive career at General Motors, where he started in Human Resources and rose to the Regional Vice President of Human Resources and Labor Relations for all of South America before becoming the CEO for Ecuador, and then Vice President of Sales and Marketing for the Andean Region. In his 20+ years with GM, Luis successfully led a wide number of teams and employees, negotiated difficult union agreements, recruited executives, and coached many international executives.

After leaving GM, Luis became the CEO of Biela, a beer brand in Ecuador, and he effected the turnaround of the beleaguered brewery in under twenty months before successfully negotiating its sale to Heineken. This achievement showcases Luis’ executive management skills, his entrepreneurial and visionary spirit, and his commitment to results.

Luis received his law degree from La Sabana University in Colombia and a Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) the Fundação Getulio Vargas (FGV), one of Brazil’s most prominent business schools. GM University has also certified him as an executive coach. He serves on RMN Electi’s Board of Advisors.

Doriana Hun

DorianaDoriana Hun is the current Manager of Chevron for Panama. Among her functions are those of directing the country’s sales and marketing, which includes retail sales to Texaco service stations and commercial sales to companies. In addition, she is responsible for developing and implementing the business plan in Panama, as well as working, together with the Public Affairs area, as a representative before the government, unions, and the media in Panama.

She received her bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from the Florida Institute of Technology in 1997 and her master’s degree in Business Administration from the Universidad Latina de Panamá in 2001.

Gina Sare

Gina SareGina Sare Benites is an expert in evaluation, accreditation, and higher education of the Peruvian educational system. Graduated in Education from the Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos (UNMSM), she has a master’s degree in Evaluation of Development Programs and Projects from the Universidad de Costa Rica. She has 17 years of executive and managerial experience in public and private institutions in the education sector; mainly, in evaluation and accreditation of professional training programs of higher education institutions.

She has worked as General Manager at ICACIT, an accrediting agency specializing in professional training programs in computing, engineering, and engineering technology. She also worked with international organizations such as Save The Children (Peru) and the International Union for the Conservation of Nature (Costa Rica).
