Biography

Brian Grey is an instructor in the undergraduate CISC program where he teaches courses focusing on code fundamentals, computing fundamentals, and artificial intelligence. Before coming to HU, Brian taught AP computer science at the high school level as well as working in industry as a software engineer for over 10 years. He has held positions in several industries including logistics, government contracting, manufacturing, and financial services. He currently lives in Lancaster county where, in his off hours, he annoys his three daughters and cats.

Teaching and Research Interests:

Brian is currently enrolled in DePaul University researching how active learning techniques can enhance the cognitive aspects of serious games. This work is being done at Harrisburg University using SpacEscape, a serious game for teaching space science. This is a joint research project with his friend and colleague Dr. Sa Liu of the Interactive Media program.
