We’re the first new chartered nonprofit institution in Pennsylvania in the past century. And we got here because we dared to imagine a new type of education that pushes where the world is going next, even when the world pushes back.
We have one of the most diverse student bodies among private colleges, with nearly 7,000 students hailing from 102 countries. But this isn’t the result of targeted outreach or recent promises. Rather, it’s a product of our founding commitment to offering an accessible education to anyone who seeks it.
We don’t offer degrees that merely seem interesting in practice or look good on paper. Rather, we empower family-sustaining careers that bolster the future for our students, for our community, and our economic success.
We’ve spent the past 20 years earning the honor of being recognized as one of the best STEM educations in the country. But we have so much more to do. That’s where you come in.
