While attending university for communication, I began broadcasting competitive Overwatch in my spare time. What began as a hobby grew unexpectedly into a career, being a primary caster for PUBG, as well as other titles such as PUBG Mobile, APEX Legends, and Garena FreeFire. Over the course of my 10 years in casting I have gotten to travel the world and develop working relationships with many game developers, esports organizations, tournament organizers, talent, and players My post-graduate focus was on communicating risk to people living in areas that were at a high risk for natural disasters and persuading them to take risk-reducing actions. I worked with the Southern Climate Impacts Planning Program to help develop educational materials for governmental leaders and residents in flood-prone regions of Louisiana.
