Jenene Kolensie International Student Officer/ DSO

My name is Jenene Kolensie, and I am currently working as an International Student Coordinator / Designated School Official. 

I am excited about working with international students because I was one at one time and I can relate to some of their experiences and understand some of the processes. I am looking forward to learning more about the processes and how the processes have been impacted.  

I have 15+ years in leadership, customer services, customer relationship and sales roles and 17+ years of experience in higher education. I also encompass a master’s degree in business. Changing the lives of others through managing, coaching, mentoring, facilitating, and teaching is a passion.  I thrive in an autonomous creative environment that builds relationships and enjoy developing programs and processes. Have a passion for business ethics, policies, researching, auditing, analyzing, and ensuring compliance. Previous positions include education specialist for the college of education in their progressions and placement team, adjunct faculty, international student services consultant, Professional development Trainer, student services academic adviser, mentor, counselor, representative, career coach, relationship manager, sales manager, and corporate credit analyst.
