Francois Prizinski Assistant Professor of Physical Therapy

Francois Prizinski PT, DPT, EdD. is an Assistant Professor in the Doctor of Physical Therapy Program at Harrisburg University of Science and Technology. Francois is a Board-Certified Orthopedic Specialist (OCS) and a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Therapists (FAAOMPT). Francois has a background in post professional education as cofounder of Nxt Gen Institute of Physical Therapy with experience in accredited orthopedic residency and manual therapy fellowship education. Francois has been active as Director of Education for Nxt Gen Institute developing online and hybrid programs in orthopedic manual therapy, virtual residency, and specialization programs in orthopedics for Physical Therapist Assistants.

Francois completed a Doctor of Education at Northeastern University which emphasized diversity and equity in higher education and workplace environments. Francois has an interest in leveraging technology to enhance entry-level and post professional learning, developing clinical reasoning skills through small group learning, and addressing barriers for marginalized student populations. Francois is active within the American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapists (AAOMPT) as an External Accessor to review accredited fellowship programs
