Daniel Wilhelm Content Manager - Advancement

Dan Wilhelm earned his B.A. in Creative Writing at Susquehanna University. While there, he served as a writing tutor for undergraduate and graduate students. He discovered his love of writing in the fourth grade, at which point his dream job morphed from “backhoe driver” into “professional writer” and “bestselling novelist.” The former appears to have come to fruition; the latter is a work in progress.

Since 2007, he’s worked as a copywriter, S.E.O. and P.R. strategist, technical writer, lead editor, and process manager for teams of writers. He has also ghostwritten for C.E.O.s and founders, has obtained the rank of Eagle Scout, and was once a national semifinalist in the Norman Mailer Writing Awards for narrative nonfiction.

Today, he’s leveraging these experiences to advance H.U.’s relationship with the community and the nation and inspire the next generation of scientists, technologists, and thinkers.

Dan lives in Halifax, Pennsylvania, with his wife, two cats, and a rotating cast of aquatic snails. In his free time, he enjoys camping, hiking, planting trees, playing computer R.P.G.s, listening to progressive rock and metal, and reading science-fiction.
