Jason Smith, PT, DPT, OCS, FAAOMPT, COMT, DAC, FMS, Cert DN, CertDxUS Director of Clinical Education; Assistant Professor, Physical Therapy

Jason Smith PT, DPT, OCS, FAAOMPT is the Director of Clinical Education for the Doctor of Physical Therapy Program. In this role, Jason ensures congruency of didactic and clinical curriculum and coordinates student clinical experiences to develop effective and autonomous physical therapy practitioners.

Jason is also the Program Lead for the Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science Pathway Program.  In this role, Jason coordinates program curriculum, accreditation, and student success. With this program, Jason is dedicated to offering a pathway for working Physical Therapist Assistants to advance their education.

Jason is passionate about lowering the dept-to-income ratio for those entering the physical therapy profession by creating a learning environment where students are able to simultaneously work within the field and put relevant curricular concepts into clinical practice.
