Warren Dutka Corporate Faculty (PMGT)

Warren Dutka has been a Corporate Faculty member – teaching at the graduate level – since 2014. Warren also serves as the Course Team Lead for the Principles of Project Management course at HU.

For over 30 years Warren has been managing projects that include designing and implementing quality, productivity, and service timeliness programs, designing workflows, and developing management information reporting.
Warren is the Manager of Internal Operations at Penn National Insurance – headquartered in Harrisburg Pennsylvania. As Manager of Internal Operations, Warren directs a staff of business analysts who design and manage many kinds of projects for automated and non-automated systems. Most work includes the development of business rules & requirements, the design of business processes, as well as analyzing existing operations to ensure continuing alignment with business needs.

Warren also serves as the Director of Organizational Change Management (OCM) at Penn National Insurance.
In addition to teaching and his full time work, Warren serves on the board of directors at Bethesda Mission, an organization that provides the poor and homeless with shelter, food, and clothing. Additionally, Warren is a member of Leadership Harrisburg Area – an organization comprised of business and community leaders dedicated to improving the quality of life in the Harrisburg area through community service.
Warren has also given several presentations at Project Management Institute chapter meetings, covering systems thinking and team motivation.
Warren graduated from Messiah College in 1983 with a BS in Accounting. In 2013, Warren obtained his MS in Project Management from Harrisburg University of Science & Technology.

When given the chance, Warren enjoys jogging, gardening and antiquing.
