The Federal Drug Administration (FDA) is working to fully approve COVID-19 vaccines in hopes of encouraging more people to become vaccinated.
In an ABC27 news interview, Dr. Erik Hefti, HU Executive Director of Pharmaceutical Sciences, discussed the importance of the FDA’s full approval.
“When this approval does come, and I’m very confident it will, within the next few months, I think you’re going to see that reintroducing the idea or the question of vaccine hesitancy and actually shining another spotlight on it and hopefully getting more people to get that vaccination,” Hefti said.
