Our executive hybrid graduate programs were developed for career-minded individuals. Our academic programs offer an online learning experience accompanied by traditional face-to-face teaching methods and on-campus lectures, group projects, immersion trips, and workplace consulting projects.
Students register for one on-campus course and one online course. Please note that missing a physically required on-campus meeting date has severe consequences and jeopardizes an international student’s legal status.

The Executive Session Format is structured for maximum flexibility while maintaining the high standards of a traditional graduate program.
Semester Structure:
- Weekly online coursework: Complete assignments, participate in discussions, and collaborate virtually.
- In-person weekend sessions: Engage in hands-on workshops, group projects, and faculty-led sessions.
- Attending in-person sessions is mandatory for all students.

Orientation is Online
A link to the Online Orientation is sent to your HU email beginning the first day of Registration, provided you paid your tuition and fees. If you are accepted to HU after Registration opens, the link is sent to your HU email after your tuition payment is processed.
Housing Arrangements
Arriving from a foreign country:
Make housing arrangements at the Pennsylvania Place before arriving in the United States. You’ll need to pay the necessary deposits and first month’s rental fee.
Residing in the United States:
Certain hotels in the region offer discounted rates for students enrolled at Harrisburg University. Students can book their own accommodations at one of these hotels. See our preferred hotels.
