Harrisburg University Pharmaceutical Sciences Professor Dr. Erik Hefti recently weighed in on the use of COVID-19 vaccine cards for an abc27 news story.

The cards are proof that one has received the coronavirus vaccine, and experts suggest holding on to them.

In the story, “What Pennsylvanians should and shouldn’t do with COVID-19 vaccine card,” Hefti notes:

“While currently it’s not being utilized all that much, that’s not to say in a month or so that it will be very important. There’s only so much power that we have with these cards but if we use them to mitigate the potential damage that this has been doing, to not only our country but around the world, it’s definitely something we need to look at.”
