HARRISBURG, PA — As the fall semester comes to a close, Harrisburg University of Science & Technology (HU) proudly celebrates the accomplishments of its December 2025 graduates. This milestone not only represents the completion of a degree, but also marks years of dedication, growth, and hands-on learning shaped by real-world experiences inside and outside the classroom.
As they prepare to take the next steps, whether it be entering the workforce, continuing their education, or advancing within their fields, these graduates carry forward the knowledge and confidence gained during their time at HU.
Below, several members of the December 2025 graduating class highlighted how their experiences at Harrisburg University helped shape their academic paths, career goals, and future aspirations, as well as the individuals who supported them along the way.

Sarah Stover
Degree: Bachelor of Science in Applied Mathematics (now Engineering & Mathematical Sciences)
Plans after graduation: Full-time work at Latino Connection as a Prevention Specialist and Data Analyst. I am also planning on going into a graduate program for Healthcare Analytics.
How has your time at HU helped you get to where you are now? HU has given me practical experience, as well as the opportunity to make connections and build my portfolio.
Is there anyone you would like to thank? I would like to thank Dr. Akeisha Belgrave and Dr. Kevin Huggins for helping me learn and giving me the materials for success.

Gabrielle Spencer
Degree: Bachelor of Science in Biology
How has your time at HU helped you get to where you are now? My time at Harrisburg University was truly a unique and rewarding experience that both challenged me academically and supported my personal and professional growth. Throughout my studies, I strengthened my critical thinking, research, and design skills through numerous projects and hands-on experiences, which helped me build confidence in my abilities. I also had the opportunity to engage in applied research that allowed me to address real-world problems and present my research in professional settings. These experiences have prepared me for the next steps I take after graduation.
Is there anyone you would like to thank? I would like to express my sincere gratitude to my professors, advisors, and mentors at HU for their continued guidance and encouragement. I would also like to thank my family, friends, and peers for their continuous support throughout my academic journey.

Tilak Patel
Degree: Master of Science in Biotechnology
Plans after graduation: I plan to continue growing in the biotech and biopharma field, focusing on roles that allow me to contribute to meaningful, patient-impacting work.
How has your time at HU helped you get to where you are now? My time at HU has been truly transformative. Coming in last fall, I was able to balance academics with hands-on industry experience, and HU’s flexible, supportive environment made that possible. The coursework, faculty guidance, and real-world focus helped me build confidence and shaped the direction I want to take in my career.
Is there anyone you would like to thank? I’m grateful to my professors, classmates, and mentors who encouraged me along the way. Their support made this journey much more meaningful.

Girish Rongala
Degree: Master of Science in Project Management
Plans after graduation: I am actively looking for full-time, entry-level project management roles where I can apply the knowledge and skills I’ve gained to real-world projects and continue growing as a professional.
How has your time at HU helped you get to where you are now? It was a great experience throughout this program. HU provided valuable opportunities to build strong connections, engage with industry professionals, and learn from their diverse perspectives. These experiences significantly enriched my academic and professional journey.
Is there anyone you would like to thank? I would like to sincerely thank all my professors for their guidance and support. Special thanks to Dr. Sarah Dyson for her mentorship during my graduate thesis. I am also grateful to Emily Lupi, an exceptional career advisor who helped me shape my career path, and to Priyadharshini Rajmohan ‘25, a close friend whose constant motivation and encouragement meant a great deal to me.

Syed Dilshad
Degree: Master of Science in Project Management
Plans after graduation: Currently working as a Production Engineer at Keurig Dr. Pepper Inc. and pursuing my career growth toward becoming a Project Manager.
How has your time at HU helped you get to where you are now? My time at Harrisburg University strengthened my understanding of project management principles and provided practical, real-world applications that complement my professional experience. The coursework enhanced my ability to manage projects, communicate effectively with stakeholders, and approach challenges with a structured and strategic mindset.
Is there anyone you would like to thank? I would like to thank my professors, academic advisors, and classmates for their guidance, support, and collaboration throughout my academic journey. I am also grateful to my family for their continuous encouragement.
