HARRISBURG, PA — Emily Lupi, assistant director of Career Services and Employer Relations in the Harrisburg University of Science and Technology Office of Career Services and Experiential Learning, has been selected to serve on the National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE) Recruiter + Career Services Partnership Frameworks Task Force for the 2026-27 academic year.
NACE, the leading professional association connecting campus recruiting and career services professionals, opened the task force to its full national membership. Only 30 members were selected to serve, bringing together career services professionals and employer recruiters from across the country.
The task force is charged with examining how strategic partnerships between career services offices and employers can move beyond transactional recruiting, such as career fairs and job postings, toward sustained engagement that reaches across an entire institution. Over the course of the year, members will study how employer engagement is changing in today’s recruitment landscape, including hybrid recruiting, skills-based hiring, and the growing role of experiential learning.
The group’s work will produce a Guiding Framework for Meaningful Employer Engagement outlining principles, partnership models, and stages of partnership maturity. Members will also develop two toolkits: one designed to help employers build lasting relationships with colleges and universities, and one designed to help career services professionals develop, steward, and measure the value of those partnerships. Both resources will address ways employers can connect with faculty, curriculum, and student organizations.
