HARRISBURG, PA — On May 14, 2026, Harrisburg University of Science and Technology (HU) honored the Class of 2026 at its 19th Commencement Exercises. Friends, family, and leaders from the community joined us at The Forum Auditorium in Downtown Harrisburg to celebrate more than 1,300 bachelors, masters, and doctors of science, philosophy, and technology.
Commencement remains one of the most meaningful milestones of the year and offers an opportunity to reflect on the university’s continued commitment to innovation, access, and student success.
Since its founding, Harrisburg University has remained dedicated to preparing students for careers in high-demand STEM fields while creating opportunities for learners from a wide range of backgrounds and experiences. The university’s diverse student population reflects the communities it serves, while its programs are designed to meet the evolving needs of today’s workforce through interdisciplinary collaboration and hands-on learning.
The Class of 2026 represents students from across the country and the world, all bringing unique perspectives, experiences, and ambitions to HU.

Career Outcomes and Student Success
For Harrisburg University’s undergraduate Class of 2025 — a cohort of 125 students — 90% are employed, pursuing graduate education, or serving in the military. The University achieved a 94% knowledge rate for this class, meaning post-graduation outcomes were verified for 117 of the 125 graduates.
Among those 117 graduates with known outcomes, 96% reported being employed, enrolled in graduate school, or serving in the military, while the remaining 4% reported they are currently seeking employment or not employed.
Just a handful of the companies where these graduates are now working include Chesapeake Toxicology Resources, Deloitte, Eurofins, Harrisburg Young Professionals, Mid Atlantic Machinery, Navy Nuclear Propulsion Laboratory, Penn State Health, Salesforce, South Jersey Water Test, Splashwire, TE Connectivity, and UPMC.
