About the Course

The Project Management Professional (PMP®) certification is the global gold standard for experienced project managers. Harrisburg University’s PMP® Exam Prep Course is an in-person, instructor-led program designed to prepare participants to successfully sit for the PMP certification exam while strengthening real-world project leadership skills.

As a PMI Authorized Training Partner (ATP), Harrisburg University delivers PMI-developed curriculum aligned directly to the PMP Exam Content Outline (ECO). This comprehensive program satisfies the required 35 hours of formal project management education needed to apply for PMP certification.

Participants will build mastery across predictive, agile, and hybrid project approaches while learning how to lead teams, manage project delivery, and align projects with organizational strategy.

This immersive classroom experience combines expert instruction, collaborative exercises, exam-focused learning activities, and applied project scenarios to reinforce understanding and exam readiness.

As an ATP, we are able to provide PMI™-developed PMP exam preparation materials. Our instructors were evaluated by the PMI™ and had to pass PMI™ instructor training prior to being certified to deliver this course.

PMP Exam Preparation – This course exposes students and practicing project managers to Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK™) processes and standards and prepares students to take either the Project Management Profession (PMP) certification exam.

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher (or global equivalent) from a GAC accredited program
  • 24 months/2 years experience leading and managing projects within the past eight years
  • 35 hours of project management education/training (GAC core project management course work is pre-approved to fulfill this requirement)
