About the Course
The Project Management Professional (PMP®) certification is the global gold standard for experienced project managers. Harrisburg University’s PMP® Exam Prep Course is led by PMI Authorized Training Provider Instructors who are certified to prepare participants to successfully sit for the PMP® certification exam while strengthening real-world project leadership skills.
As a PMI Authorized Training Partner (ATP), Harrisburg University delivers PMI-developed curriculum aligned directly to the PMP Exam Content Outline (ECO). This comprehensive program satisfies the required 35 hours of formal project management education needed to apply for PMP certification.
Participants will build mastery across predictive, agile, and hybrid project approaches while learning how to lead teams, manage project delivery, and align projects with organizational strategy.

As an ATP, we are able to provide PMI™-developed PMP exam preparation materials. Our instructors were evaluated by the PMI™ and had to pass PMI™ instructor training prior to being certified to deliver this course.

From leading high-impact initiatives at the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) to shaping the next generation of professionals as a Part-Time Corporate Faculty/Professor at Harrisburg University, she’s built a career around improving systems, empowering people, and delivering measurable results. Her background spans strategic planning, process improvement, leadership development, and organizational performance.
Dr. Wheeler is a PMP-certified practitioner-scholar with more than 40 years of leadership, program, and project management experience across public, private, military, and academic settings. His passion is learning, and his purpose is teaching—especially helping students connect project management theory with the realities of leading complex work. Drawing on experience managing major construction, engineering, technology, and reconstruction initiatives, he brings practical lessons in planning, stakeholder engagement, governance, risk, and execution into the classroom. Dr. Wheeler’s teaching creates an active, inclusive environment where students think critically, learn from diverse perspectives, and apply adaptable models to real-world project management challenges.
