The Harrisburg University Office of Career Services and Experiential Learning boasted a 94.6 percent success rate in helping place students in jobs, graduate school, and more following graduation, according to the results of the First Destination Survey for the Class of 2021-22.
This means that nearly every undergraduate from last year’s class found a successful outcome (a full-time job, part time job, graduate school, military enlistment etc.) within six months of graduation. The office’s response rate was also near 82 percent.
“The Office of Career Services and Experiential Learning thanks everyone who helped and collaborated with the office to complete the annual survey,” said Kristin DiMatteo, HU Employer Relations & Career Development Director. “But we also want to thank all who help ensure Harrisburg University graduates find quality opportunities to make this survey such an overwhelming success.”
While the office has not yet received national figures from the National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE) 2021-22 annual report, the success and response rates for HU students are almost sure to be well above national averages. The NACE national average for 2020-21 for success rate was 84.1 percent and the knowledge rate was 54.7 percent.
