Harrisburg University congratulates Dr. Tonya Miller, who heads the University’s Physical Therapy doctoral degree program that is under development, as she was chosen to deliver a two-hour presentation at the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) Combined Sections Meeting (CSM) in San Diego Feb. 23-25. Miller also will have two posters detailing her and her colleagues’ research displayed at the conference.

Miller’s presentation is titled, “Emotional Intelligence: A key to engagement in home health.”

The posters are titled, “The Impact of Summer Camp on the Quality of Life for Children Requiring Ventilatory Support,” and “LGBTQ+Barriers in Physical Therapy Education and Practice: A Qualitative Study from the Patients’ Perspective.”
