Harrisburg University Healthcare Informatics Professor Michael Seavers has been selected to serve on the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS) Interoperability & HIE Committee.

His two-year term began Jan. 1.

The HIMSS is a global advisor and thought leader supporting the transformation of the health ecosystem through information and technology.
