Harrisburg University congratulates Alum Urmil Deepak Parikh, who has been hired by Adbakx, an IT training company based in New Jersey.

Parikh, who earned a M.S. in Information Systems Engineering and Management at HU, is a Technical Scrum Master/Business System Consultant for the company.
In his new role, Parikh, 25, is working with a team of 12 to build a resource management system.
Parikh credits his time at HU in preparing him for his new position.
What did he love most about HU?
“The Location is amazing, downtown Harrisburg is quite happening on weekends, and it surely was a stress reliever,” Parikh said. “The professors are amazing. Since I worked for a professor, I learned how the professors are, their skills and knowledge, and I was very impressed with the knowledge and real-time work experience they bring to the table and their availability to help students succeed. The career department is dedicated to seeing their students grow successful in the field.”
“I just want to thank Harrisburg University and Adbakx for giving me this opportunity, the career department, Jeff Kayer, and the man and myth himself, HU’s Steven Infanti,” he added. “I want to get into mentoring new grads, friends, and become a professor at HU.”
