The National League for Nursing has just declared 2022 as the Year of the Nurse Educator in recognition of the essential role of nursing education. Frontline health care workers are heroes in this pandemic, but nurse educators have made possible nurses’ delivery of everything from lifesaving emergency services to end-of-life care. Nurse educators and programs are primarily responsible for the preparation of the nursing workforce.
ABC27 recently talked about the topic with Harrisburg University’s Dr. Nancy Mimm, who leads the M.S. in Nursing program at the campus.
Harrisburg University’s 36-semester hour Online Master of Science degree in Nursing is designed to support improvements and innovations in nursing for the current American healthcare system. More on the program is found here: https://www.harrisburgu.edu/programs/ms-nursing-online/
