Harrisburg University of Science and Technology will honor longtime supporter Dr. Bennett Chotiner with its 2023 Impact Award during the University’s annual Gala, set for April 1, 2023.
The Impact Award honors those individuals who have made invaluable contributions to the building and establishment of Harrisburg University, and all of those who have supported Harrisburg University through our history and progress, and directly support our mission. The Impact Award is the highest-level award given and is a symbol of the individual’s dedication to Harrisburg University.
“Ben’s commitment to the University has spanned nearly two decades. His time, efforts, and generosity honor the legacy of this award and demonstrate the power of service that helped take an idea to what is now a world-class University,” says Dr. Eric Darr, Harrisburg University president. “The support Ben and his wife, Inez, have extended has provided dozens of scholarships to students and their steadfast support of previous galas ensures we have a robust emerging scholar’s fund.”
The Impact Award will be presented at our annual gala on Saturday, April 1, 2023, at the Hilton Harrisburg.
“Harrisburg University has made a remarkable impact on our community for nearly two decades. It has been a pleasure to watch Harrisburg University grow and prosper, and I’m honored by this recognition,” says Choitner.
Dr. Chotiner is Founder & Medical Director of Memorial Eye Institute in Harrisburg.
