Cryptocurrency, or digital currency, has grown from an investment tool to a means used to pay for airline tickets, hotel rooms, meals, and more.

In a recent az central article titled, “Yes, you can book travel with bitcoin and other cryptocurrency – but should you?” Andrew Hacker, Harrisburg University professor and cybersecurity expert in residence, says it is just a matter of time before even more companies begin to accept cryptocurrency as payment.

Hacker also is CEO and founder of Thought AI, which recently listed its own cryptocurrency to CoinMetro. Thought Coin backs Thought AI’s patented technology, which gives data a safe, secure mind of its own. Thought AI fundamentally changes the way digital information is processed by embedding every piece of data with artificial intelligence.

Hacker’s prediction for the future use of cryptocurrency as valid forms of payment:

“Major travel industry companies and services to begin looking more at accepting cryptocurrency as payment in the future.”
