Harrisburg University offices of Career Services and Experiential Learning are proud to present the University’s annual Spring STEM Career Fair and Career Week series of events Feb. 10- 17th 2023.
HU has partnered with Pennsylvania CareerLink to present this year’s Career Fair from 1-3 p.m. on Feb. 15. Nearly 25 employers will participate in the fair set to take place on the 12th and 13th floors of the University’s Academic Center from 1-3 p.m. on Feb. 15. Pennsylvania CareerLink also is coordinating with area high schools to bring students to the fair to meet STEM employers.
Each of this year’s Career Week events will highlight professional development, career preparedness, job opportunities, and internship assistance.

February 10th
BEYA STEM CAREER FAIR-DAY 1 -This virtual Career Fair is presented by the Black Engineer of the Year Award (BEYA) program! BEYA is a program founded in 1986 by the national Career Communications Group that celebrates diversity in STEM. As part of their yearly conference, they host a virtual job fair that features a number of Fortune 500 companies that are all rooted in STEM. Students and Alumni will have the opportunity to engage with employers like Amazon, Boeing, Ford Motor Company, numerous agencies in the Federal Government and many more.

February 13th
POLISHED PROFESSIONAL DRESS – CAREER CLOSET
Do you have interview attire or professional dress? If not, please visit our HU Career Closet! Thanks to the donations of our faculty and staff as well as our employer partners, our closet has greatly expanded! As you get ready for the STEM Career Fair, the closet will be open to any student or alum who would like to take any articles of professional clothes so you can dress to impress for upcoming networking opportunities with employers. Pre-registration not required for this event.

February 13th
LEVEL-UP YOUR RESUME – EMPLOYER PANEL
Level-up your resume! In preparation for the STEM Career Fair, we will be hosting an employer panel of recruiters and HR representatives who will provide their guidance and advice on what professionals want to see on a resume in 2023. Participants will be able to leverage this advice to ensure their resume is ready to be viewed by employers in upcoming career events and other networking engagements. CAREER FAIR BOOTCAMP – EMPLOYER PANEL DISCUSSION
