Governor Tom Wolf recently signed into law a bill that sets aside $225 million to support health care workforce development.

The University has been at the forefront of workforce development in the healthcare arena.  Roches teaches population health at Harrisburg University, and Dr. Mimm leads the M.S. in Nursing as well as the Certificate in Population Health programs at HU.

Additionally, the University’s new $100 million Education Center will house several health sciences programs aimed at preparing students for careers in various health fields.
