HARRISBURG, PA — Central Penn Business Journal has selected Lorelee Isbell, Vice President for Strategy & External Relations at Harrisburg University of Science & Technology (HU), as a 2026 Women of Influence honoree.

Women of Influence honors high-achieving women for their career accomplishments. These women are selected based on their professional experience, community involvement, and commitment to mentoring.

The Circle of Excellence is awarded to women who are of longstanding, notable success in the community and are leading the way for other women. Women to Watch honors women leaders under the age of 35 for their professional and community accomplishments early in their careers.

The honorees were selected by a panel of judges comprised of previous recipients and by the editorial team of Central Penn Business Journal.

“The 2026 Women of Influence are trailblazers who demonstrate extraordinary leadership. These women elevate, educate, mentor, support, and empower other women and work to make Central Pennsylvania a wonderful place to live and work,” said Suzanne Fischer-Huettner, managing director of BridgeTower Media and Central Penn Business Journal. “We are also pleased to honor this year’s Circle of Excellence recipients who have shattered glass ceilings, redefined possibilities, and selflessly mentor the next generation. The Women to Watch are leaders who are making an impressive impact early in their careers. Central Penn Business Journal is pleased to celebrate this year’s Women of Influence.”

The 2026 Women of Influence will be honored on June 24 at a celebration at the Sheraton Harrisburg Hershey Hotel. Registration and networking begin at 5 PM, followed by dinner and the awards program starting at 6 PM. The hashtag is #CPBJevents. The Award Sponsor is UPMC. The Supporting Sponsor is WellSpan Health. Visit CPBJ.com for more information and updated sponsorship information about Central Penn Business Journal’s 2026 Women of Influence.
