Step into the world of creativity, technology, and design at Harrisburg University’s Interactive Media Day! Students will immerse themselves in hands-on experiences inside our cutting-edge classrooms and media creation labs, exploring how interactive media shapes the way we learn, play, and connect. From designing digital experiences for education and entertainment to experimenting with emerging tools for storytelling, game design, and user experience, participants will get a real taste of college-level work in this fast-growing field.
Interactive Media Day is more than just a workshop; it’s an invitation to see how art and science converge to inspire innovation. Students will collaborate with HU faculty and current Interactive Media majors, gaining an inside look at what it takes to create projects that are both technically impressive and creatively compelling.
“Whether it’s in emerging fields like augmented reality (AR) and generative AI or established sectors like digital marketing and user experience (UX) design, our program fosters versatile professionals ready to thrive in a rapidly changing digital world,” said Dr. Charles Palmer, Interim Dean for HU’s School of Applied Media & Innovation. “Events like this give students a glimpse of the creative possibilities and career pathways waiting for them in this exciting field.”
Lunch will be provided for all attendees, and the day will offer students the chance to envision themselves as the next generation of digital creators. Space is limited, so please mark your calendar and share this opportunity with your students and colleagues. This is a first come, first served event. We can’t wait to welcome you to Harrisburg University, where imagination meets innovation!
