HARRISBURG, PA — A Harrisburg University of Science and Technology (HU) alumna has received the Next Gen Award from the Technology Council of Central Pennsylvania (TCCP). The award recognizes “an up-and-coming young woman who is making a difference in technology in our region,” and this year, that honor goes to none other than Priyadharshini “Priya” Rajmohan.

Priya, who earned a Master of Science in Analytics from HU in 2025, is an IT Technology Analyst II at the Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission. She first became acquainted with TCCP while a master’s student, and her involvement grew after joining the Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission. In her role with the Turnpike, she develops business intelligence, AI, and data analytics solutions that help drive smarter decision-making across the Commission.
She began attending the TCCP TechNet events, where she grew more involved in the community, met new people, kept learning, and found her place in Central Pennsylvania’s tech ecosystem.
Even as one of three finalists, Priya didn’t expect to win. She shared that receiving the award motivates her “to help the next generation of women find their seat at the table, believe in themselves, and know that they belong in technology.”
Originally from South India, Priya is a first-generation college graduate. And this isn’t her first recognition. In 2024, Harrisburg Young Professionals named her one of its 20 in Their 20’s honorees.

Priya continues to give back, not only through her support of HU’s Alumni Council but also through leadership roles with organizations including the Society of Women Engineers and WTS (Women’s Transportation Seminar).
Harrisburg University appreciates and acknowledges Priya’s ability to inspire and empower the next generation of technology professionals, and we are excited to call her one of our own.
