What is Dual Enrollment?

Harrisburg University’s Dual Enrollment Program allows motivated high school students to enroll in real college courses — at our downtown Harrisburg campus — while still completing high school.

These courses are taught by HU faculty and follow the same academic standards as our undergraduate Bachelor of Science programs, allowing students to make the most of their time in high school and higher learning alike.

Each semester, a variety of general education and STEM-related courses are available.
These my include:

  • Chemistry I
  • College Algebra
  • General Biology
  • Introduction to Health Science
  • Programming Fundamentals

Eligibility

  • You must be a current high school student (typically 11th-12th grade).
  • A minimum GPA of 2.75 is recommended.
  • Parental consent and school counselor approval are required.

How to Apply

  1. Fill out the Dual Enrollment application online.
  2. Submit your high school transcript.
  3. Receive course options.
  4. Register and begin classes!
