Two Harrisburg University leaders in population health and innovation will be among the panelists at an upcoming webinar on virtual reality in healthcare.

The panel, “Democratizing Healthcare with VR – for Immersive, Scalable Experiences,” will feature Luanne Reese, Executive Director Strategic Healthcare Initiatives, and Dr. Nancy Mimm, Assistant Professor of Population Health.

The no-cost event is set for noon, June 21, 2022.

The event is put forth by the VR/AR Association (VRARA) Philadelphia Chapter.  VRARA is an international organization designed to foster collaboration between solution providers and end-users that accelerates growth, fosters research and education, helps develop industry best practices, connects member organizations, and promotes the services of member companies.

Other members of the panel include Dr. Arun Ramakrishnan, Director of Research Labs at  Drexel University, Jeffrey Williamson, CEO, VisionWearX, and Dr. Linda Ciavarelli, Founder of HouseCall VR.  Yulia Barnakova, Principal Digital Innovation Lead at Heidrick & Struggles, and Mike Chapman of VR/AR will moderate the panel.
