With the start of the school year fast approaching, officials continue to debate whether students and teachers should wear masks in class as delta variant covid cases to spike across the U.S.

During recent CBS21 and Fox43 news interviews, Dr. Nancy Mimm, Harrisburg University Professor of Population Health Nursing, said masks are a crucial tool needed to help save lives.

“I asked my family to be vaccinated, and when I go out I wear my mask,” said Mimm. “It’s the strongest tool we have in our toolbox right now to help save lives.”
