Harrisburg University Presents will host two concerts this weekend at Riverfront Park in downtown Harrisburg.
First up is Young the Giant who will perform Friday evening. Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit will play on the same stage the following night.
ABC27 interviewed Frank Schofield, HU Director of Live Events and Media Services, about the shows that kick off a string of four riverfront concerts powered by PNC Bank, Dauphin County, and Comprehensive Financial Services during the next month. “We’re having two great nights of concerts at Riverfront Park in downtown Harrisburg. It’s so scenic and beautiful,” Schofield said. “It can’t get any cooler than Riverfront Park with the trees at night along the river and the trains across the top, it’s going to be two great nights.”
