Given the current high rate of COVID-19 cases related to the Omicron variant, Harrisburg University of Science and Technology  will continue with the virtual format for all undergraduate classes in Harrisburg and Philadelphia until March 6, 2022.

Students and faculty should plan to resume all scheduled on-campus courses to in-person on Monday, March 7th.  However, HU will continue to monitor the data and trends and communicate any change in this course of action as soon as possible based on the best possible information available from the medical community and governmental agencies. If HU needs to extend the virtual courses and services to allow for physical distancing, HU will provide the community with at least a week’s notice for planning purposes.

The health, safety, and welfare of the HU community continues to be a priority. Students should continue to monitor their HU email for any updates from the covid19@harrisburgu.edu email and HU’s COVID 19 webpage.

Student housing remains an option for students that wish to be in campus-affiliated housing. However, strict physical distancing and guest policies will be in place.
