Registration is now open for the 4th annual Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers Cloud Summit hosted virtually by Harrisburg University October 21-22, 2020.

The IEEE Cloud Summit provides a unique international forum for researchers, developers, and practitioners to present cutting-edge research and best practices, and to exchange ideas and views on the current trends and technical challenges related to Cloud, Fog, Internet of Things, and Edge Computing as well as their community value. The IEEE Cloud Summit 2020 is sponsored by the IEEE Computer Society Technical Committee on Cloud Computing (TCCLD).

In addition to keynote speeches, paper presentations, and poster sessions, the conference program will feature tutorials on cloud, fog, and big data techniques (AWS, Spark, MapReduce, etc.), as well as their applications in healthcare and other industries, presented by industry experts.

The conference will provide networking opportunities to the stakeholders from across the world in the field of cloud and fog computing.

Harrisburg University faculty members: Dr. Majid Shaalan, Dr. Terrill Frantz, Dr. Saeed Esmaili-Sardari, Dr. Iheb Abdellatif, Brian Grey, Randy Jones, and Dr. Thomas Plunkett will chair the technical sessions.

The IEEE is the world’s largest technical professional organization for the advancement of technology.  This is the first time that Harrisburg University is hosting an IEEE event.
