Harrisburg University of Science and Technology faculty will be presenting three topics at the Inside Quantum Technology (IQT) Conference being held this week in New York City.  In different sessions at the 5-day conference, Dr. Terrill Frantz will be speaking on three topics, which reflect the breadth of HU’s  Quantum Technology involvement in the industry.

On Wednesday, Frantz will be speaking on technology standards-setting processing in the USA and Internationally.  On Thursday, he will be part of a panel of experts on China and the nation’s engagement in quantum technology research, standards-setting and business; moreover, Dr. Frantz will be panelist on the broader topic of Quantum Technology Workforce Development, specifically talking about the HU activities pertaining to the global learning-events activity, and HUs expertise in the global Quantum Technology master’s degree market.

HU Quantum is earning an influential place in the global quantum technology ecosystem through conducting technology research, offering coursework at all levels of education, and collecting and harvesting business intelligence (jobs, event, standards-setting, China and educational degrees) for the industry.

Dr. Frantz leads the graduate studies in quantum computing as well as teaches in the ebusiness and cybersecurity programs.
