HU’s Online Project Management Program is among the best online Master’s Degree programs in the U.S., according to rankings recently released by AffordableColleges.com.

Standing out for quality and affordability, HU’s 36-credit Project Management Program ranked 13th among the 25 Affordable Online MBA in Project Management list, which can be found Here.

Project management, a relatively new, expanding area of business administration, zeros in on conception, methods and completion of projects as effectively as possible, according to Affordablecolleges.com. And, as the project management field grows, more employers are searching for workers with relative educational backgrounds, the website said.

In determining rankings, AffordableColleges.com weighs loan default rates, graduation rates and financial aid data, to draw a distinction between the programs that appear cheap up-front and those that will pay off in the long run.Students enrolled in HU’s MS in Project Management Online Program must complete 12 courses, including five core classes, five electives and two experiential learning courses.

HU delivers the program in an “Executive Format,” which requires online students to also travel to campus to complete additional coursework one weekend a month.

Students can choose to focus on IT Management, or other concentrations. All program graduates walk away with the skills they need to manage project life cycles.

When calculating the rankings,  AffordableColleges.com used the most recent data available from the Integrated Postsecondary Education Data System (IPEDS). Run by the US Department of Education, IPEDS offers reliable and accurate insight into affordability, academic pedigree, and online/distance learning programs. Using IPEDS data, AffordableColleges.com developed a 1-10 rating system which informs the order of our rankings. The closer a school is to a 10, the more value it offers its students, according to the website.
