Plans to build a $500 million natural gas export terminal along the Delaware River in South New Jersey were approved Wednesday.

Opponents believe new fossil-fuel infrastructure projects only add to growing climate issues.

Harrisburg University Engineering and Energy Professor, Dr. Arvind Ravikumar, discussed the growth of fossil fuel facilities in the following PBS story.

“The infrastructure that we’re building now today will last for decades,” he said. “The question is, is that compatible with our long-term targets? I don’t think it is.”
