Geoffrey Roche of Harrisburg University of Science and Technology’s Health Population faculty has been invited to serve on an important panel at an upcoming health information technology event in Miami in March.

A member of the corporate faculty at Harrisburg University, Roche is on the Real Deal DE&I for Hiring & Retention panel during the ViVE event, which focuses on the business of healthcare systems.  More on the organization is found online at https://www.viveevent.com/

The panel will explore leadership for diversity and belonging, including tech tools, data and programs that enable employees to excel from the first moment of contact with an organization.

Roche is participating in several speaking engagements on health information and health equity during 2022.  He has volunteered and has been appointed to serve on numerous local, state, and national committees and taskforces, including the Health Equity Task Force of the National Infrastructure for Mitigating the Impact of COVID-19 within Racial and Ethnic Minority Communities (NIMIC) initiative, the Pennsylvania Department of Health Office of Health Equity Advisory Committee, the Lebanon County Economic Recovery Taskforce Leadership Team, and more.
