Harrisburg University congratulates Rebekah Harriger, HU Experiential Learning Coordinator, for her selection as the recipient of the National Society for Experiential Education’s (NSEE) 2021 NSEE Experiential Education Rising Leader Award

This award recognizes an individual who has joined NSEE within the past five years and is already making outstanding contributions to experiential education. HU Geospatial Technology Professor, Albert Sarvis, nominated Harriger for the award.

“This award is great for Rebekah and great for Harrisburg University,” Sarvis said. “I have a not hidden my appreciation for Rebekah’s contributions over these last few years, and I’m excited about how her knowledge, energy, and enthusiasm will help continue this “rising” trajectory for experiential learning here at HU.”

Harriger will receive the award during the NSEE Conference held in Orlando September 27 -29.
