An experiential education is at the heart of the academics of Harrisburg University of Science and Technology.  It should be no surprise that HU students get hands-on experience producing e-sports tournaments!

The ESPT 320 Live Event Production class has been organizing a Rocket League tournament over the past two semesters. Beginning at 12 noon this Saturday, April 9th, the Harrisburg University Collision Course will feature collegiate esports teams from across the country, including UC Berkley, Arkansas Tech, and Northwestern.

The online event is 100% designed and organized by HU students with guidance from Thomas Panico of the Harrisburg University faculty.  All aspects of the event are managed by HU students.

The goal of the event is to provide our ESPT students (and any other willing volunteers) with the opportunity to learn what it takes to plan and execute an esports tournament, from conception to completion.

Tune in to see the broadcast through the HU Storm Twitch channel. https://www.twitch.tv/harrisburguniversity
