Harrisburg University congratulates Senior Environmental Science and Sustainability major Anthony David who provided testimony about environmental justice issues across Pennsylvania before legislators at the state capitol Wednesday morning.
David, a member of the state Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) Environmental Justice Advisory Board (EJAB), was invited to speak by the state Democratic House Policy Committee and the Pennsylvania Legislative Black Caucus.
David was appointed to the EJAB, which makes recommendations on proposed DEP regulations and policies that affect the environmental health of communities, earlier this year. David’s term on the board began Feb. 17 and will run through Jan. 1, 2024.
