Congratulations to Ozlem Cosgun of the Harrisburg University of Science and Technology faculty. The assistant professor of Information Systems and Operations Management in the Information Systems Engineering and Management graduate program has been designated as a Session Chair for the INFORMS 2022 Annual Meeting, Oct. 16-19, in Indianapolis, Indiana.
INFORMS–The Institute for Operations Research and the Management Sciences–is the leading international association for professionals in operations research, analytics, management science, economics, behavioral science, statistics, artificial intelligence, data science, applied mathematics, and other relevant fields. With over 12,500 members from around the globe, INFORMS promotes best practices and advances in operations research, management science, and analytics to improve operational processes, decision-making, and outcomes through an array of highly-cited publications, conferences, competitions, networking communities, and professional development services.
Cosgun’s session will focus on Machine Learning Applications. The main objective of the session is to promote key advances in science and applications in these fields and drive emerging research topics. She is currently accepting submissions for the session.
Her research interests include Operations Research, Data Analytics, Data-driven Prescriptive Analytics, Operations Management, Quantitative Management and Healthcare Management and Optimization. She has published 40+ publications in peer reviewed journals and conferences in those areas.
