DNPs of Color welcomed Geoffrey M. Roche of the Harrisburg University of Science and Technology Population Health team to its second cohort of advisory committee members.
“I am so thrilled to have this group of diverse, uniquely talented, and influential individuals on our advisory committee” said Dr. Danielle McCamey, Founder, CEO, & President. “They will be instrumental in helping take us to the next level of growth and deepen our impact in building community and creating opportunities for DNPs of Color to ultimately help diversify nursing practice.”
DNPs of Color (DOCs) is a 501c3 nonprofit nursing organization, whose mission is to serve doctors of nursing practice of color through networking, mentorship and advocacy to increase diversity in doctoral studies, clinical practice, and leadership.
“It is such an honor and a privilege to serve with Dr. McCamey and the Advisory Committee to advance the important work and wonderful mission of DNPs of Color forward,” says Roche. “As the son of a nurse and having served as a health system leader that was mentored by a nurse CEO, I am so excited to help advance the nursing practice as part of our collective work to transform all of healthcare to ensure it is more equitable, diverse, and inclusive.”
In addition to his faculty role at Harrisburg University, Roche is Senior Vice President, National Health Care Practice & Workforce Partnerships at Core Education PBC.
