HARRISBURG, PA – Harrisburg University of Science and Technology (HU) is pleased to announce the addition of Kevin Switala to our business-centered Professional Development IT Board of Advisors. As the Chief Technology Officer for Gannett Fleming, Mr. Switala brings over 26 years of strategic technical experience to this group of thought leaders. Additionally, Brendan Wesdock has been named the Program and Operations Manager of NASA Earth Observation (GIS) and will continue to serve with our Board in his new role.
This Advisory Board was established in 2020 and provides the vision that guides the business and technology efforts of HU’s Professional Development team – empowering our University to build the Workforce of the Future.
This dedicated Advisory Board collaborates with HU to provide their keen insight and business experience. Their efforts help us meet the professional development demands of our students, who utilize the University’s Centers and Institutes from a variety of corporate and government organizations.
The board’s key functions include:
- Assisting with curriculum development and content selection.
- Identifying new leading-edge methods for learning.
- Providing perspectives unique to the business community.
