Harrisburg, PA – Harrisburg University of Science and Technology (HU) will once again organize, sponsor, and host the HUE Invitational – one of the largest university-run esports events in the United States. Each year, collegiate esports teams from across the country travel to Harrisburg and HU to compete for the coveted title of HUE Champion. Harrisburg University has sponsored the event annually since 2018.

“The HUE Invitational is a great opportunity for the invited universities to show off their teams very early in the competitive calendar and see how they compare with other top teams in the country,” said Mike Navarro, Director of Esports at HU. “Furthermore, it allows Harrisburg University to show off our campus and give our students the chance to get hands-on experience in putting on a LAN tournament.”

This year, eight Valorant, eight League of Legends, and 12 Rocket League teams are invited to the event. Harrisburg University graciously acknowledges the support of Intel, which is supporting the HUE Invitational again this year by supplying Intel® NUC “Beast Canyon” 11th Gen PCs for the entirety of the tournament.
