Harrisburg, Pa. – Harrisburg University of Science and Technology and the Chester County Intermediate Unit have teamed up to present a day-long Scholastic Esports Summit on April 10.

The virtual summit, ideal for high schools looking to establish Esports clubs/teams, training for coaches, professional development, and more is set to take place from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.

“We are delighted and grateful to collaborate with HU for this exciting event,” said CCIU Educational Innovation Specialist, Kammas Kersch. “Career readiness opportunities in emerging and unique fields like Esports are so vital for students, parents, and educators to experience before students complete their high school journey!”

The summit will feature student presentations, student panels, and additional panel

discussions about coaching, streaming, social media and Esports, career pathways and academics.
